Basic Overview
Following is the basic sequence of operation of a gas boiler.

Pump Switch >
Fan >
Fan Switch >
Gas Valve >
Ignition >
Heat produced >
Sequence of Testing
– Power coming into boiler
– Boiler Pressure between 1 and 2. Will activate at lows from 0.5 onwards.
– Heating Controls calling for heat or hot water activating flow switch/turbine.
– Check pump circulating
– Ignition
– Ignition should stay on.
