  • MCS Approved Training;
    • Installation;
    • Design;
  • Public Liability
    • £2 Million ie Admiral Business, Trade Direct Insurance.
    • £600 starting approx
  • Apply to Consumer Code ;
    • RECC / HIES (This has a long lead time so do this first, estimated 2-4 weeks)
    • £100 plus VAT / £120 inc vat application fee
    • £215 plus VAT /  £268 inc vat joining fee sole trader.

  • QMS System
    • EasyMCS; No prerequisites. Cost: 1 Technology £625 plus vat; 2 Technology £100 plus vat
    • Paperclip;
    • Own system. MCS Certified website contains templates
    • Needs to be in place for the assessment. (some say before Public Liability)
  • Apply to Certification Body;
    • Napit, APHC
    • Minimum £2 Million public liability
  • Create BUS Installer account ;
    • Ofgem Website
    • 21 days activation
